Within this experimental project, focusing on hand-artisan crafts with machine-knit fabrics were implemented into this small floral collection. By developing simple floral knit-designs through the Shima Seiki Apex software, more room for applications such as dyeing and bead-embroidery were obtainable. Additionally, using cotton yarns for the 14-gauge SRY knit machine allowed the use of more natural and sustainable fibers. These samples aid in the potential end-product of high-end apparel such as sleek and elegant dresses, tops, and skirts.
